The Pentwater Abbey Bed & Breakfast
Location, location, location; we have it. A short walk to everything in Pentwater. Or, if you prefer, use our complimentary bicycles to go to the beach, fine dining, unique gift and antique shops, coffee shops, art galleries, tennis courts, charter fishing, pier fishing, putty golf, and the village green for the free concerts on Tuesdays and Thursdays.   Art and Craft shows and festivals, are held monthly in the summer. This is our 20th Season, with many guests returning each year. Pentwater offers the best of everything. Pentwater offers great Beaches, Sunsets, Boating, Sailing, Fishing, Golfing, Shopping, Dining, Antiquing, Hiking, Tennis, and is close to the Silver Lake Sand Dunes, the only place in Michigan where you can drive on the dunes.

A warm and cozy atmosphere
Pentwater is a delightful little village reminiscent of earlier times. Being both a lifelong resident and member of the Historical Society, your hostess is a wealth of info on local lore. And its a wonderful place to come and relax. Our most popular night in July and August is Thursday. Grab a blanket or one of our lawn chairs and enjoy an old-fashioned band concert on the Village Green Bandstand. Sing along or just listen to early American rendition of "America the Beautiful." A wonderful evening activity enjoyed by all is the gathering at the park for the great sunsets into the Big Lake or the romantic secluded stroll on the beach. A wonderful atmosphere for the weekend getaway.


Our rooms are filled with great antiques
  • A DELUXE FULL BREAKFAST is served in the dining room from 8:30 A.M. to 9:30 A.M.
  • Take our beach chairs and beach umbrellas to read or take a nap on our sugar sand Caribbean style beach.
  • Arrive by boat and we provide free pickup service.
  • The coffee pot and homemade cookies await you!
  • Approved and Inspected by the Michigan Lake to Lake Bed and Breakfast Association.
